This is a great stretching opportunity and a fabulous way to work into the poses slowly. Breath work is a strong element to this class. This class is gentler than a Hatha Level 1. Essential oils in Svasana to enhance your yoga experience are always an option.
The Vinyasa style of yoga links movement with breath. Proper alignment and breathing techniques combine with the gentle flowing movement of Sun and Chakra Salutations to help you build strength, concentration, mobility and balance. This class is comparable to a Level 1 class offering more instruction into poses. Everyone is welcome to adjust their own practice through variations that are offered. Themes and sequences are different every time! I use essential oils in Svasana in this class as well as a pampering way to end your practice.
Yin Yoga is a slow approach to asana where the poses are held for a longer period of time making a deeper connection with our connective tissues, ligaments and fascia.
