Friday, December 15 (evening): Mani/Pedi Karaoke Night at Salon Agape in St. Charles. 7:30pm on. Only 15 slots for an express mani or pedi so let me know ASAP what you are interested in. Space for roughly 20 people. BYO food/beverages.  You do not have to get nails done to participate. If you let me know your karaoke song in advance, the staff can have the songs ready:)

Cost: $25/manicure + tip; $35/pedicure + tip; No nails- $10 (to staff for staying and listening to us sing LOL!)

We will also have a Henna artist joining us for those interested: $20 for small pieces, $40-50 for large.

FEATURED HEALING STONE:  AMETHYST

For centuries, amethyst, a member of the quartz family, has been known as a stone of protection. Its name derives from Greek meaning “without drunkenness” and is believed to protect a person from poison.  While it can be used to assist one in giving up bad habits such as smoking or drinking, it can be used to clear the energy field of negative influences.
 
Placing amethyst clusters in the home, meditation room or car can bring the feeling of being protected by a bubble of light or flame.  It can also aid in meditation by clearing the mind of clutter allowing one to easily enter into a meditative state.  It is said to strengthen the immune system and help heal imbalances of the respiratory tract.
 
Amethyst is readily available in nature making it one of the more affordable stones.  While much of it comes from South America, the highest quality is supposedly from Russia.  No matter which you choose, it is a must for your collection.
